A realtor, as defined by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) is a federally registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NAR and subscribes to its strict code of ethics. The NAR emphasizes that the term Realtor(R) may only be used to convey this meaning.
